Get Involved

Speech, language and communication are a core part of life for us all.

That's why TALK Derby is for everybody. There are lots of ways to get involved.

Everyone

  • Declare your support by making the TALK Derby pledge - to spend more time listening and talking to the children in your lives
  • Tell others about TALK Derby and encourage them to make the pledge too
  • Follow us and share our posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - and encourage others to do the same, so we can keep everyone informed
  • Get involved in TALK Derby DAY by arranging or attending an event on 1st July
  • Use the resources and guidance we have provided about helping children and young people to develop their speech, language and communication skills..
